Project overview:

As a PhD student will be involved in the development of an in vitro approach encompassing biochemical, biophysical and structural approaches (cryo-EM) to provide an integrated view of the molecular nature of interactions of a variety of RIPs with eukaryotic ribosomes.
The PhD student will be involved in designing, development and testing of the genetic circuits and cloning systems for ribosome inactivating proteins (RIPs) expression in different heterologous systems as well as protein purification process followed by using the hi end technology to study the interaction of biological molecules.
The PhD student will also get the opportunity to attend international conferences and to travel and learn from leading expert through our wide network of academic collaborations and present the scientific outcome of the project in conferences and meetings.
