Tydzień Mózgu 2022 #MariaMyśli na UMCS

Czy nasz mózg potrzebuje zegara? Jak myśli Maria, a jak Piotr? Jakie są molekularne podstawy depresji? Odpowedzi na te i inne pytania znajdziecie już 14-20 marca 2022 trakcie Tygodnia Mózgu #MariaMyśli na UMCS!

Już drugi raz Studenckie Koło Naukowe Neurobiologów, Studenckie Koło Naukowe Psychologii "Adesse" oraz Koło Kognitywistyki włączają się w obchody międzynarodowej akcji promującej wiedzę o naszym wspaniałym centrum dowodzenia. 
Tegoroczna edycja odbędzie się w formie zdalnej. Uczestnicy będą mieli okazję wziąć udział w interaktywnych warsztatach przygotowanych przez członków kół naukowych UMCS oraz wysłuchać wykładów znamienitych naukowców z kraju oraz zza granicy. W programie przewidziane są również konkursy z nagrodami przygotowane dla różnych grup wiekowych, w tym ogólnopolski konkurs plastyczny dla uczniów szkół podstawowych pod tytułem „Mózg to świetna maszyna, wielka neuronów kraina”. 

Cykl wydarzeń skierowany jest do wszystkich zainteresowanych poznawaniem tajemnic funkcjonowania naszego układu nerwowego oraz wpływem nauki o mózgu na obszary życia codziennego.  
Wstęp na wykłady jest wolny, natomiast na warsztaty obowiązują zapisy. Udział w zajęciach jest całkowicie bezpłatny.

Brain Week 2022 #MariaThinking at UMCS (14-20.03.2022)

Does our brain need a clock? What does Maria think and what does Piotr think? What is the molecular basis of depression? The answers to these and other questions can be found on March 14-20, 2022, during the #MariaThinking on UMCS!

For the second time, the Student Scientific Association of Psychology "Adesse" UMCS, Student Scientific Association of
Neurobiologist UMCS, Scientific Association of Cognitive Science
UMCS participate in an international campaign to promote knowledge about our great command center. 
This year’s edition will be held online. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in interactive workshops prepared by members of the UMCS scientific community and listen to lectures by renowned scientists from Poland and abroad. The agenda also includes prize competitions for different age groups, including a national art competition for primary school students entitled “The Brain is a Great Machine, a Great Neuron Land”.

This series of events is aimed at all those who are interested in exploring the secrets of how our nervous system works and the influence of brain science on areas of everyday life.

Admission to the lectures is free, registration is required for the workshops. Participation in the lessons is completely free of charge.

The initiative is under the patronage of JM Rector of UMCS Prof. Dr. hab. Radosław Dobrowolski.
