8th International Conference on Computational Methods and Function Theory (CMFT 2017) - 10-15.07.2017 r.
The Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, Poland, will be hosting the eighth international conference on Computational Methods and Function Theory (CMFT 2017) to be held July 10–15, 2017.
The general theme of the meeting concerns various aspects of interaction of complex variables and scientific computation, including related topics from function theory, holomorphic function spaces, approximation theory and numerical analysis. Another important aspect of the CMFT meetings, previously held in Valparaíso 1989, Penang 1994, Nicosia 1997, Aveiro 2001, Joensuu 2005, Ankara 2009 and Shantou 2013, is to promote the creation and maintenance of contacts with scientists from diverse cultures. The conference program consists of invited one-hour lectures, of invited and contributed 25 minute talks and of poster sessions.
The organizers are very proud that the following ten eminent function theorists have agreed to deliver the plenary one-hour lectures:
Alexandre Eremenko, Purdue University, USA,
Janne Heittokangas, University of Eastern Finland and Taiyuan University of Technology, FINLAND/CHINA
Aimo Hinkkanen, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA
Arno Kuijlaars, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, BELGIUM
Nir Lev, Bar-Ilan University, ISRAEL
Norman Levenberg, Indiana University – Bloomington, USA
Miodrag Mateljević, University of Belgrade, SERBIA
Kristian Seip, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NORWAY
Barry Simon, California Institute of Technology, USA
Vilmos Totik, Szeged University and University of South Florida, HUNGARY/USA
Limited funds are expected to be available for partial support of travel/local expenses of participants from developing countries. Those in need of such support are requested to indicate this in the registration form.
