What is “CONSENSUS”?

“CONSENSUS – Student Scientific Journals” is an academic journal that has been published for over 20 years by the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. As a registered journal, “CONSENSUS” has been included in the International Serials Data System and assigned an ISSN number. As a result, copies of individual issues are available in the collections of major university libraries across the country, as well as in the National Library in Warsaw. We are pleased to inform you that our journal is included in the latest list of scientific journals published by the Minister of Education and Science, with an assigned score of 20 points.

“CONSENSUS” features a range of scholarly contributions, including research articles, reviews, and reports, all authored by students, including doctoral students, from both Polish and international universities. Submissions are welcome in the fields of political science and administration, international relations, and journalism, broadly understood. The only requirements are a high academic standard and compliance with formal requirements (please refer to the “Formal Requirements” section).


Dear Readers,

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all students who have chosen to publish their works in the upcoming issue of “Consensus – Student Scientific Journals”!

A total of 16 submissions have been received, comprising 15 articles and one report. At this stage, most of the texts have already undergone double review.

We would also like to highlight that we are no longer accepting articles for issue 25 of “Consensus,” which is schedules for publication in December 2024. However, new submissions are now welcome, with a final deadline of 15 September 2025.

We encourage you to explore our archive editions and invite students, including doctoral students, to submit their original work!
