The 6th edition of Sentimental Metamorphoses festival was held in Chatka Żaka between 31st March and 1st April 2017. The festival is an annual event honouring the life and music of the singer, composer and lyricist, Jacek Kaczmarski. This year, a new addition to the festival has been introduced – OPEN STAGE METAMORPHOSES, a song contest for foreign students studying and living in Poland.

Political Science Faculty student KATHERINA KOZLOVA won the 1st place! The 10CZA BAND: DELPHINE WERTELLE, NOLWAZI ZEENA MHODO and KRZYSZTOF ROMANKIEWICZ (all International Relation students) came 2nd capturing the hearts of the audience and the jury with their boldly charismatic take on "Billionaire" by Travie McCoy and "Czerwone Korale" by Brathanki.
