The first-year students in IR(BA) program at UMCS are invited to the obligatory adaptation lecture "Life-copers. About problems and how to deal with them" by Prof.dr hab. Katarzyna Klimkowska.

"Life-copers. About problems and how to deal with them" is an obligatory adaptation lecture for first-year students starting academic education at UMCS.The aim of the lecture is to familiarize students with:

  • functioning in adulthood and coping with difficulties
  • coping at university
  • the specifics of psychological crises and dealing with them.

Prof.dr hab. Katarzyna Klimkowska ia an expert in the field of preventive psychology, andragogy (methods and principles used in adult education); coach specialising in a Solution-Focused Approach.
