Currently, it has over a dozen members. The activity of the Club focuses on issues of modern microbiology, molecular biology, and biotechnology.

  • stimulation of students’ scientific interest
  • implementation of research projects
  • participation in investigations conducted by research staff
  • improvement of the laboratory workshop
  • broadening microbiological knowledge
  • integration of students
  • having fun while doing science

The members of the Club are involved in the organisation of cyclical events popularising knowledge and promoting the Faculty, e.g. Biologists’ Night, UMCS Open Doors, or Lublin Science Festival. The students also organise scientific workshops for primary and high school students.
