Development of Global Politics. Current Challenges - course by Dr. Barbora Padrtova (Masaryk Univ.,Brno)

Dr Barbora Padrtova of Masaryk University in Brno, the Czech Republic will teach an on-line course "Development of Global Politics. Current Challenges" at the Political Science and Journalism Faculty, UMCS in May, 2020.

Dr. Barbora Padrtova is an Assistant Professor at the Department of International Relations and European Studies at the Faculty of Social Studies at Masaryk University in Brno, the Czech Republic. Her research interests focus on global politics, US-Russia relations, NATO-Russia relations, securitization theory and geopolitics in the Arctic region. In 2018-2019, she also worked as a Research Scholar affiliated with the Arctic Futures Initiative at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), based in Laxenburg, Austria. She is a Czech delegate to the Social & Human Working Group of the International Arctic Science Committee (IASC).
