On December 7th, 2023, for the third time, we met at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University on the occasion of the Day of Student Scientific Clubs.
The aim of this event was to present the activities of student organisations functioning at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology: the Students' Government and Student Scientific Clubs, to integrate the student community and to show opportunities and perspectives for development, not only scientific.
During the event, everyone could get acquainted with the offer of each of the eight Student Scientific Clubs active at the Faculty: SSC of Biologists, SSC of Biochemists, SSC of Biotechnologists, SSC of Phytochemists, SSC of Microbiologists, SSC of Neurobiologists, Student Nature Photography Club and Animal - Plant Interaction Students' group (APIS). Members of the Clubs, together with their tutors, showed visitors to their stands their activities consist of and told them about their plans for the near future. Participants of the event could also attend interesting lectures and test their knowledge in quizzes.
We would like to thank all the students and tutors who contributed to the organisation of the event. Thanks to you the number of the Student Scientific Club members significantly increased!
