Applying for on-campus accommodation for candidates admitted for the first year of studies/multiple exchange programs in the 2023/2024 academic year and the current students/doctoral students.
The procedure of applying for on-campus housing (so-called third turn of application) for the 2023/24 academic year starts on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, and lasts until Wednesday, September 13, 2023 (including).
During the third turn of applying, the following groups of students can apply: students admitted to study at the UMCS (I-year of Bachelor's degree, I-year of Master's degree, and I-year of long-cycle degree) starting from the 2023/2024 academic year, students who, in the 2022/2023 academic year, were the students of IV-year students of long-cycle programmes, I, II-year bachelor’s degree (3-year programmes), I, II and III-year engineer’s degree (3,5-year programmes), I-year of second-cycle (master’s degree) programmes as well as to current doctoral students, the participants of doctoral programmes (provided they are still conducted) and I to III-year doctoral students who will continue their education.
Logging to the USOSweb for the first time: visit the following website: https://login.umcs.pl/ and click “Reset password”. On the next page, type in the e-mail address provided during the registration for a study programme. You will shortly receive an e-mail notification with your login and a link to set a new password (remember to check your SPAM-box and notifications folders).
Students applying for accommodation on the special basis (with special conditions), i.e. persons with disabilities, single parents, students’ couples, orphans and half-orphans, are obliged to attach a scan of the document confirming this circumstance (a certificate confirming one's disability, a copy of a child's birth certificate, a copy of a marriage certificate, a copy of a parent's death certificate).
Applicants with visual impairments, moving in a wheelchair or walking with crutches should indicate this fact on Page 9 in the USOSweb system. This will help the commission to allocate a place at a proper dormitory.
