The International Summer School is addressed to 30 foreign and Polish doctoral students.

All classes will be conducted in English.

Recruitment will be carried out through electronic registration. The main criteria that will be considered for admission are an order of application and a summary of an outline of the ongoing research project. In the case of a greater number of applicants than the number of places provided, online interviews will be held. Recruitment is scheduled as of April 1, 2023.

The Summer School program will include lectures and thematically related workshops on the following topics:

  • artificial intelligence
  • research projects
  • intellectual property
  • startups

All classes will be conducted in small discussion groups and will take the form of dynamic short lectures, video presentations, and case study discussions. Each participant will receive a certificate for completing the International Summer School and an individual report with a personal development plan.

During the entire stay for doctoral students, we provide:

  • accommodation in UMCS student houses;
  • reimbursement of travel expenses (according to budget limits);
  • meals;
  • accident insurance.

The purpose of the International Summer School is mainly focused on the internationalization of the doctoral training process.
