The basic tasks of the European Centre UMCS include:
- cooperation with the partners of the European Centre UMCS in order to develop existing and create new research and teaching programs in the field of European studies;
- supporting interdisciplinary research in the field of European studies, with particular emphasis on research on European and EU integration;
- organization of studies and other teaching programs in the field of interdisciplinary European studies with a focus on law, political science, administration and management studies;
- development and promotion of education for European integration;
- transfer of knowledge in the field of European integration to the economic sector, public administration, local government and the non-governmental sector.
