We are pleased to invite You to the Workshop entitled “A New Challenge to Justice: Information Society, Application of Law and ADR”, which has been registered by the organizers of the 30Th World Congress of the International Association for the Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy in Bucharest.
The workshop will focus on practical aspects of application of law and ADR from the point of view of justice in the information society.
Firstly, our attempt is to consider to what extent the information society influences the contemporary perception of the axiology of law. New technologies, as an inherent element and manifestation of the developing information society, pose a challenge to the general perception of the axiology of law. A new category of justice in the form of "e-justice", which is an element of legal policy, is directly related to the interest of the individual, but also to the public interest.
Secondly, ADR legal institutions are becoming more and more popular in the world and should be the subject of legal theorists’ advanced considerations. We use ADR in international, supranational and national disputes including commercial, family and labour disputes as well as in peacebuilding. It is a new option in many legal orders and a new challenge for the information society in the light of using ADR legal institutions. It is known that the quality of legal communication depends on the speed of information, its contents and how the information is passed. Using all these factors is important in ADR legal institutions.
