Printmaking students in international exhibitions - previous project 2019

 

Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin is a contractor of the project "Participation of printmaking students in international art competitions" co-financed by the European Social Fund under the Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development conducted at the Faculty of Arts under the supervision of Alicja Snoch-Pawłowska.

Aim of the project is to support exceptionally talented students in the development of their scientific activity, innovation, creativity, through supporting their participation in international art competitions and conferences.

As part of the project, 6 students produced 68 works submitted to 4 international competitions. The success of the activities undertaken within the framework of the grant is the international award for linocut for Kinga Lewicka at the 22nd Printmaking Biennial 2019 in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium, and the qualification of 42 works for post-competition exhibitions. Students attended  exhibition openings in 3 art centres: Sofia - Bulgaria, Sint-Niklaas - Belgium and Cologne - Germany.
