Business Mentoring Sessions is a series of events whose main goal is to inspire foreign students to connect their professional future with Lublin and to create their own unique businesses.
The event was opened by Maciej Cieciora, an employee of the UMCS Welcome Centre, he welcomed special guests as well as students who attended the event in large numbers. Next UMCS Rector's Plenipotentiary for Internationalization of Education, Dr. Ewelina Panas made opening remarks. She was followed by Dr. Marcin Garbowski who made opening statement on behalf of the Lublin City Hall. The rest of the event was moderated by Ainebyona Karokora Robert from the Welcome Center UMCS.
The first guest presenter of Business Mentoring Sessions was Mr. Rommel Gracias from Portugal, who has been working in the creative industry for over 20 years, most of it in marketing. Currently is self-employed and the Creative Director of Eagle8. The company defines itself as a creative collective of designers, developers and marketers.
The second guest presenter of the event was Mr. Martin Dalebout a citizen of the Netherlands. His the proprietor of Martin's City Tours Lublin a company which offers both paid and unpaid tours of Lublin city. With over 20 years of experience in sales, telemarketing and project management on at least 3 different continents. He was happy to share his wealth of experience as a foreign entrepreneur living and working in Lublin.
Finally, there was a Q&A session, and the event ended with a networking session. Business Mentoring Sessions is the first event in the entire series.
