Second round of accommodation application for 2020/21 academic year

The second round of applying for on-campus housing for 2020/21 academic year starts on Monday, 24th of August and lasts until Wednesday, 16th of September 2020.

Applications may be submitted only by new first-year students enrolled in:

  • first-cycle, bachelor’s degree programmes,
  • second-cycle, master’s degree programmes,
  • long-cycle, 5-year master’s degree programmes,
  • PhD programme

To log into the USOSweb system for the first time, visit the following website: https://login.umcs.pl/   and click on “Reset password”. On the next page, type in the e-mail address provided while registering for a study programme. You will shortly receive an e-mail notification with your login and a link to set a new password (remember to check your SPAM and notifications folders).

Applications for on-campus housing should be submitted ONLY via the USOSweb system. Follow the link below to see the application guide: https://www.umcs.pl/en/applying-for-on-campus-accommodation,15040.htm

It is not necessary to print out and submit a paper form of your application!

At the same time, we would like to inform you that students who apply for accommodation on the special basis, i.e. persons with disabilities, single parents, students’ marriages, orphans and half-orphans, are obliged to attach a scan of the document confirming this circumstance (the certificate of disability, copy of the child's birth certificate, copy of the marriage certificate, copy of the parent's death certificate) on Page 6 in the USOSweb system.

Applicants who are visually impaired, use a wheelchair or walk on crutches should indicate this fact on Page 4 in the USOSweb system (it would be helpful for the Commission for Student Dormitories to select the best dormitory for such students).

After 17th September 2020, the Commission for Dormitories will publish the results of the second round of applications for on-campus housing in the USOSweb system.

The choice of assigned places must be confirmed ONLY on the USOSweb platform by 25th September 2020 at the latest.

The university reserves the right to modify the Commission’s decision due to the epidemic situation in the country.

For on-campus accommodation enquiries, please contact the Office of Student Affairs of the Centre for Education and Study Services: akademik@poczta.umcs.lublin.pl ; tel. +48 81 533-86-27.
