“The work of Grzegorz Dobiesław Mazurek for over 40 years has been consistently discovering the reality seen through the prism of passing, time, archiving memories, eroticism. The common link that binds together the topics raised by the artist, the most inspiring and capacious in terms of content, is the human being with his emotions and history marked by the passage of time. A man confronted with the artist's very personal, private memory, by the power of which he rediscovers him and preserves him, trying to give him a magical strength to persist beyond time. The way of seeing reality is a story about one's own attitude to representational, figurative art, clearly affirming belonging to tradition. The artist develops each of the distinguished topoi within several cycles, which, inexhaustible in meaning, often remain open. " - Anna Hałata
