Associate Professor in Department of Applied Linguistics, former head of the Department (2013-2023), director of Doctoral Studies in Literary Studies and Linguistics, founding editor-in-chief of a major Scopus (Q1) electronic journal Teaching English with Technology (2001-up till now). 

Research interests include foreign language teaching methodology, testing and assessment across cultures, foreign language teacher development, intercultural communication in electronic media and Computer-Assisted Language Learning.
