All UMCS employees and students can use the Teams application free of charge within Microsoft Office 365. Owing to the application, it is possible to work remotely or to teach (have lectures, classes) online.

Key functions of Microsoft Teams:
- participation in online meetings (e.g. lectures, classes, team meetings, oral exams),
- chat communication (e.g. communication among employees),
- audio and/or video calls,
- screen sharing – it is possible to conduct online presentations in real time,
- files sharing, e.g. sending materials for classes.
The Teams application can be used:
