Welcome to the 11th Edition of OxiZymes meeting!

Dear Colleagues,

Since the first meeting in 2002 in Cassis (France), the OxiZymes meetings have been established as a platform for scientific discussions on the mode of action of oxidoreductases. Building on the success of the previous OxiZymes meetings (Cassis, Napoli, Oeiras, Helsinki, Leipzig, Marseille, Wien, Wageningen, Belfast, Siena), OxiZymes in Lublin 2024 will emphasize the latest development in oxidoreductases research, including their discovery, structure and function, engineering, performance, and applications. The format of the conference is designed to be highly interactive and to provide ample time for stimulating discussions, interdisciplinary interactions and meetings alongside scientific sessions. The OxiZymes in Lublin 2024 conference will create a unique opportunity for researchers and academics to transfer knowledge and establish research collaborations.

The scientific format of OxiZymes in Lublin 2024 will cover the following topics:

  1. Oxidative and reductive biocatalysis
  2. Structure-function relationships, protein engineering and biomimetic approaches
  3. Newly discovered oxidoreductases
  4. Physiology, regulation and production of oxidoreductases
  5. Biotechnological applications of oxidoreductases in:
  • fine chemistry
  • food
  • biorefineries
  • biosensors
  • biomaterials

The scientific program will offer oral presentations, including the lectures of the invited speakers, the lecture of the Sophie Vanhulle Prize and also a poster session. The special PreConference BioToP Session will be organized as part of the PhD program BioToP at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna.

OxiZymes in Lublin 2024 is hosted by Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, the largest university in Lublin founded in 1944.

On behalf of the Scientific Committee of the OxiZymes conference and the local organizing committee, we would like to express that it is a great pleasure to welcome you in Lublin for the OxiZymes meeting in Lublin 2024!
