Training on preparing proposals in EU framework programmes

We would like to invite you to participate in webinar entitled "EU Policies" dedicated to preparation of project proposals in the framework programmes of the European Union, which will take place on 27 January 2022 (9:00-13:00) on the MS Teams platform.

The webinar is part of a series of meetings on issues regarding project management and applying in EU Framework Programmes.

The training will be conducted by an expert with years of experience in the implementation of research projects funded by the EU, Dr Claudio Carlone - a representative of Eurocentro company, which supports in obtaining and implementation of EU grants and Barbara Chiucconi-head of the Grant Office at the University of Macerata. 

Dr. Carlone has many years of experience in project management, administration and monitoring and provides support to organisations and partners on administrative and financial reporting issues. Since 1997, as Administrative and Financial Director of Eurocentro, he has coordinated projects funded by national and international sources, including Horizon 2020 and INTERREG.

Barbara Chiucconi is head of the Grant Office at the University of Macerata. She is an experienced project manager of 7FP and Horizon 2020 projects and she also has a remarkable expertise in EU project design. Since 2012 she has organized or held as teacher training activities for the benefit of PhD students and Post docs on transversal skills. She is contact person at University of Macerata for the European Commission for Human Resources Strategy Group for Researchers Initiatives.

During the workshop, emphasis will be placed on practical information related to the requirements of the European Union in connection with applying for funds for scientific research projects. Participation in the workshop is a unique opportunity to learn about the practical side of implementing prestigious grants funded by the EC, as well as a platform to ask questions to an expert in this field.

Topics of the webinar: what a European project is: European Policies: an overview, the Multiannual Financial Framework and Next Generation EU, from the funding programs to the calls for proposal, focus on EU research policy, conclusions and training evaluation. 

The training will be conducted in English.
