Vaccination campaign extended

Due to the great interest in the first edition of the action "Vaccination stop", its initiators: the Union of Lublin Universities (UMCS, UM, PL, UP) and the Lublin Voivode, decided to extend the project. We encourage you to take the opportunity to vaccinate against COVID-19 this Thursday and Friday (7-8 October 2021) from 9 am to 4 pm at the Medical Simulation Centre in Lublin (4 Chodźki Street).

The campaign is aimed at students of all Lublin universities, academic teachers, adult schoolchildren, Lublin residents and foreigners staying in our city.

You will not need a separate referral to participate in the vaccination. You only need to have an ID card or passport. People participating in the campaign will receive preparation from Pfizer-BioNTech or Johnson & Johnson. Eligible participants will also be able to take a third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine (or the second dose if previously vaccinated with J&J). All formalities, i.e. filling in a personal questionnaire and qualification for vaccination - will be carried out on the spot, at the Medical Simulation Centre.

The return to the traditional form of academic functioning of the city, university, institution, labour market, service market, culture, sport, etc., requires stabilization of the epidemic situation in the country and the region. We want our academic centre to be vibrant and developing again. For this to happen, we must show responsibility for our own and our relatives' health, but also solidarity and care for the health of our colleagues and friends. Getting vaccinated is not only protection against a severe course of the disease if we fall ill, but also a greater level of safety for our parents, grandparents, children and friends.

We encourage you to take part in the action!
