Strefa Kultury Studenckiej Uniwersytetu Szczecińskiego was established in 2015 as a result of joining Akademickie Centrum Kultury US (established in 2005) with Dział Spraw Studenckich US. Creative groups, science clubs and student organizations such as: four theaters Teatr Akademicki US, Teatr „nie ma”, Teatr BOSCHa, Teatr Ognia „Inko Gni To” work within SKS US. This entity is an organizer of recurring festivals such as Międzynarodowy Festiwal Teatrów Niezależnych PRO CONTRA, Festiwal „Teatr w Stodole” and Festiwal „Garaże”.
