In connection with the current turn of events in Ukraine, by the order of the Prime Minister of Poland a second level of security alert has been initiated (Bravo) in the Lubelski and Podkarpackie voivodships.

Dear Sir / Madam,

Academic community,

In connection with the current turn of events in Ukraine, by the order of the Prime Minister of Poland a second level of security alert has been initiated (Bravo) in the Lubelski and Podkarpackie voivodships.

We would like to inform you that;

This warning is preventive in nature and is related to military operations on the territory of Ukraine, as well as to the wave of refugees arriving from that country;

This warning is primarily a signal for security services and public administration units to be particularly vigilant in connection with the possibility of events destabilizing the functioning of State and local government bodies and the lives of Polish citizens;

Observation of intensified activities of persons and groups spreading disinformation aiming at causing conflicts and unrest of various backgrounds;

currently there are no signals concerning specific threats of a terrorist nature, but one must reckon with an increased possibility of their occurrence.

In view of the above, members of our academic community must take into account the occurrence of certain difficulties while using the University's facilities and grounds. These difficulties may include:

  1. Restricted access to certain parts of teaching and administrative facilities;
  2. The possibility of checking the identity of people staying in the University's facilities - therefore, we ask that all people using the facilities have their IDs with them;
  3. Prohibition on accepting deliveries by units other than the Registrar's Office - direct deliveries of ordered materials are made on the basis of an appropriate procedure;
  4. limiting the accessibility of persons without appropriate authorization from using university car parks (this also applies to public holidays and afternoon hours on working days).

We hope for your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience.
