Scientific Committees of the Polish Academy of Sciences with our participation

We are proud to announce that members of our Institute have been elected as members of two scientific committees of the Polish Academy of Sciences for the term 2024-2027. Our representatives will be:

Committee on Quaternary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences:

Committee on Geographical Sciences:

  • prof. dr hab. Wojciech Zgłobicki

The committees of the Polish Academy of Sciences are the national representation of different scientific communities and disciplines and have an advisory and opinion-making function. The members of the committees develop scientific positions and expert opinions for the state administration, help to solve specific scientific issues, give opinions on normative acts concerning science, its applications and education. They also deal with the dissemination and introduction of research results and support the development of individual disciplines.
