On geomorphons, or how the computer sees the landforms

This Thursday, 2 March at 5.15 pm, we invite you to the first lecture this semester organised as part of the weekly lectures prepared by the Lublin Branch of the Polish Geographical Society. Our guest speaker will be Dr hab. Leszek Gawrysiak (Department of Geology, Soil Science and Geoinformation UMCS), who will present a lecture entitled "On geomorphons, or how the computer sees the landforms".

The meeting will have a hybrid character: it will be held in the Auditorium of the Auditorium of the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Spatial Management UMCS (Al. Kraśnicka 2D in Lublin) and it will be possible to participate online. The meeting is co-organised by the Association of Polish Geomorphologists, and the lecture itself has been prepared as part of the celebrations of the International Geomorphology Week.
