Cooperation of the Polar Research Museum in Puławy and UMCS23 June this year. A cooperation agreement was signed between the Polar Research Museum in Puławy and the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. The signing ceremony was attended by: Rector of UMCS - prof. dr hab. Radosław Dobrowolski, director of the Polar Research Museum in Puławy - Dr. Piotr Kondraciuk, member of the board of the Lubelskie Voivodeship - Bartłomiej Bałaban and Deputy Director of the Institute of Earth and Environmental Sciences of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University - prof. dr hab. Irena Agnes Pidek.

The signed agreement defines the framework for joint activities, in which the organization of scientific and cultural events for the development of education in the field of statutory activities of the Polar Research Museum is of particular importance, including, among others, co-organization of conferences, seminars, postgraduate studies. Joint publications are also planned to popularize knowledge and implementation of exhibition, educational, research and promotional projects.

The current seat of the Polar Research Museum, located in the former building of the Faculty of Long-distance University of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Puławy, allows to increase the exhibition space and give the museum a modern, interactive form of knowledge transfer.
