On December 8, 9 and 10, 2020, a number of new functionalities were added to the MS Teams application. Among other things, the appearance of joining a meeting. When you join a team meeting, the new look for audio and video settings will appear. The sound settings are on the right. A preview of the video and a setting for turning on background effects appear on the left. To find a specific microphone or camera, under Video Preview, select gearwheel icon to open the device settings.
In addition, there is a possibility of creating separate rooms during an ongoing meeting (click to go to the Microsoft Support manual). A dedicated instruction for employees and students will soon be available at www.teams.umcs.pl.
