Last Sunday (19.04.2020), packets with a traditional Easter breakfast were delivered to UMCS dormitories to students , who due to the prevailing pandemic could not return home for Christmas.
It should be emphasized that several hundred people currently staying in UMCS student dormitories are primarily foreign students, who last Sunday celebrated Easter. None of our residents at our dormitories during this special time were left without a festive meal. About 500 packages of holiday breakfasts prepared by the "Trojka" academic canteen were delivered by members of the Academic Legion of UMCS right at the student residences.
The initiator of the event was the Promotion Center of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in cooperation with the Academic Legion of UMCS.
The project was financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange under the program "Welcome to Poland".
