40 years ago, during student protests in Chatka Żaka, we were defending democracy in Poland, now we want to be in solidarity with our neighbors!
In response to the letter from the director of the National Center for Culture - professor Rafał Wiśniewski - we joined a nationwide campaign supporting Belarusians in their fight for democracy.
That is why the facade of Chatka Żaka lit this weekend with the colors of the historic flag of Belarus.
The initiators of the #LightForBelarus campaign are the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the Adam Mickiewicz Institute and the National Center for Culture.
