The Faculty’s authorities hosted Fr. Dr. Jacek A. Górka, Director of Outreach and Internationalisation at Jordan University College in Morogoro, Tanzania (JUCo). The meeting was part of development of cooperation plan between the Faculty of Economics and JUCo. Opportunities of joint research and teaching projects as well as staff exchange were discussed. Dr. Konrad Czernichowski (Chair of Global Economy and European Integration, the Faculty of Economics UMCS) is currently visiting professor at JUCo under the Erasmus Program until March 2021. The Faculty of Economics is open to host prof. Emmanuel Matiku from JUCo in Spring semester of 2020/2021 academic year and visit of the Faculty’s authorities to JUCo and several other universities in Tanzania is under development. The purpose of the visit is signing mutual cooperation agreements and promoting Data Science master program in English to be launched at the Faculty of Economics in 2021/2022 academic year.
