Accreditation Certificate “Studies with the Future” for Data Science programme

On April 11, at the Działyński Palace of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Poznań, a ceremonial gala was held to sum up the 7th edition of the National Competition and Accreditation Program “Studies with the Future”.

Representatives of our Faculty – Anna Tatarczak, PhD, Vice-Dean for Education Quality and Marek Mędrek, PhD, received Accreditation Certificates in the field of Economic Analytics and Data Science. They also were awarded for innovative and valuable education programs at the 1st and 2nd degree studies.

In the opinion of the Commission, these courses of study provide graduates with the opportunity to obtain education in line with the expectations of the labor market, they are implemented on the basis of a modern and innovative study program, with the participation of academic staff with qualifications adequate to the assumed learning outcomes. In addition, the assumptions of the concept of education in the assessed fields of study remain consistent with the mission and development strategy of the university, and assume high quality and diversity of the education offer by creating appropriate qualifications and competences that enables graduates to meet the requirements of the labor market, not only locally, but also regional and supra-regional. The university effectively strives to ensure that students can develop habits and attitudes during the entire education process, which provides the basis for the implementation of ambitious professional goals as well as continuous self-education and development in a appropriate professional and personal dimension.

The “Studies with the Future” competition, organized by the Foundation for the Development of Education and Higher Education and the PRC Creative Agency, aims to identify and reward the most innovative, modern and valuable study programs and courses at Polish universities.

With the “Studies with the Future” certificate, experts distinguish faculties or specializations carried out according to modern and valuable educational programs, well responding to the needs of the labor market and the expectations of students.
