Małgorzata Stręciwilk - the Deputy Chancellor for General Affairs

On 30th August 2021, completed his work at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, Eng. Ryszard Sołowiej, previously acting as Deputy Chancellor for General Affairs. We sincerely thank the Chancellor for over 12 years of work for our Alma Mater. University employees could always count on your help and substantive support, as well as the kindness, is shown daily.

As a result of an open competition, on 1st September of this year. Małgorzata Stręciwilk took the position of Deputy Chancellor for General Affairs. Until now, Ms Stręciwilk worked at the Department of IT Law and Legal Professions at the Faculty of Law and Administration of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University. She is a legal advisor, a member of the Regional Adjudication Committee on violations of public finance discipline at the Regional Audit Chamber in Krakow and the former President of the Public Procurement Office. She was also a member and press spokesman of the National Appeals Chamber.

Ms Małgorzata Stręciwilk is a long-term practitioner in the field of public procurement, as well as the author of industry articles, publications and expert and scientific monographs. In 2016, she was included in "50 most influential lawyers" by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.

We wish the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor fruitful cooperation with the members of the UMCS community. We hope that working at the University will bring her much professional satisfaction.
