INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE „LEGAL ASPECTS OF THE HUMANITARIAN PROTECTION OF ANIMALS” (LUBLIN, MARCH 31, 2021)

Dear Sir/Madam,

we kindly encourage you and your associates, colleagues and collaborators to present the results of their scientific work on the international conference „Legal aspects of the humanitarian protection of animals”. The conference will be held on-line on March 31, 2021 on the Faculty of Law and Administration of Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin, Poland (online, using MS Teams)

The aim of the conference is to exchange views on the legal aspects of the humanitarian protection of animals and disseminating the results of research conducted within the project “The Administrative Law Model of Animal Protection” financed by the National Science Centre (UMO-2016/23/D/HS5/01820).

Participation and publication are free of charge. The conference language is English and approximate time allowed for one speech is 15 minutes. Further conference details will be send at another date.

Prepared articles will be published in a special thematic issue of „Studia Iuridica Lublinensia”.

Studia Iuridica Lublinensia is an international scientific journal established in 2003 at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University of Lublin, Poland. The journal publishes scientific articles, commentaries on judicial decisions, reviews and reports from scientific conferences, in particular in the discipline of science of law. Since 2015, Studia Iuridica Lublinensia is issued four times a year. Since 2018, scientific articles have been published in Studia Iuridica Lublinensia in English. Studia Iuridica Lublinensia is on the list of scored scientific journals kept by the Minister of Science and Higher Education (40 points) and is indexed in Polish and international databases. The journal is published in both printed and electronic versions on an open access basis.

The English version of the text shall be submited by February 28, 2021 at the latest. This deadline will not be extended - neither the time frame of the above mentioned project nor the schedule of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University Publishing House allow it. The permissible volume of texts is 0.5 of the publishing sheet (Polish unit of text length = 40,000 chars with spaces or 700 lines of verse). We kindly ask you to observe all editorial requirements of SIL. Instructions for Authors are placed on the journal's website and attached to this e-mail. Please do not hesitate to send us your finished texts. We would like to refer them as soon as possible to the review and then to the editorial work. The planned SIL issue will be marked "2021" and should be published by the end of September next year.
