On 28th June, at the UMCS Botanical Garden, Rector Prof. Radosław Dobrowolski and Vice-Rector for General Affairs Prof. Arkadiusz Bereza presented the UMCS Physical Culture Centre employees with appreciation diplomas for their cooperation and commitment in organizing the Company Vaccination Point.
Earlier, Vice-Rector Prof. Arkadiusz Bereza met in the Rector's Office with a representative of the Academic Legion, which also provided support, overseeing the course of the vaccination campaign at UMCS.
This year, the company vaccination point at UMCS was organized between 19th and 20th June at the UMCS Centre for Physical Culture at 22 Langiewicza Street. The vaccination campaign was attended by university staff, students and doctoral students, and people cooperating with UMCS. People interested in vaccination against COVID-19 as part of the Company Vaccination Centre at our university received the mRNA vaccine from Pfizer / BioNTech. The Provincial Specialist Hospital in Lublin was responsible for the medical organization of the project, where the vaccinated persons will take the second dose after three weeks.
