I completed my master's degree in Basic and Applied Chemistry in 1995 at the Faculty of Chemistry of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. In 2008 I received PhD from enantioselective Pauson-Khand reactions with the use chiral phosphine ligands and I was promoted to the position of Assistant Professor.
Scientific Activity
My scientific interests were related to organophosphorus chemistry with particular emphasis on the preparation of chiral phosphorus ligands, their use in the chemistry of transition complexes and asymmetric catalysis. I am currently conducting research on the use of cyclic phosphorus compounds in the catalytic Wittig reaction. In the years 2010-2013, I managed research financed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education on synthesis of libraries of new P,C-chiral diphosphine ligands for the asymmetric catalysis. Last year I completed the NCN grant Stereoselective Wittig's reaction catalysed with phosphetane oxides.
