Alternative Investments 2024

The Department of Insurance and Investment at the Institute of Economics and Finance of the Faculty of Economics of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin invites you to participate in the 5th Scientific Conference from the series "Alternative investments, which will take place on October 20, 2023. The conference will be conducted entirely remotely. Detailed information about the platform on which the meeting will be held, and the organizers will provide the rules of access to it later.

The conference aims to exchange the thoughts and experiences of scientists and practitioners related to the research conducted on the development of broadly understood alternative investments. We want to look at this market from the perspective of theoreticians, participants, and regulators. Thus, we invite economists, financiers, investors, lawyers, observers, and everyone interested in the indicated topics to the discussion.

Thematic scope of the conference

The following issues will be discussed at the conference, among others:

• Cryptocurrencies and cryptoassets,
• Emotional investments,
• Commodity market,
• Investments in the real estate market,
• Crowdfunding,
• Investor safety on the alternative investment market,
• Risk on the alternative investment market,
• Legal and tax aspects of alternative investments.
