A little About the Speakers:
Meet Dr. Walter T. Brooks, MBA, Ed. D, a retired financial wizard with a heart for higher education! With a wealth of 19 years of experience, Dr. Brooks played key roles at Trinity Washington University, Cape Cod Community College, and Mercer County Community College, focusing on boosting financial vibes and strengthening institutions. He's not just about numbers – Dr. Brooks also took the lead in areas like facilities, public safety, IT, and HR. Before diving into the world of education, he navigated the investment realm at Prudential Insurance Company. Beyond the boardroom, Dr. Brooks is your go-to guy for guitar tunes, shares a love for baseball, and cheers passionately for American Football!

Meet Brian Chaggu, a dedicated Ph.D. scholar at Maria Curie Skłodowska University, specializing in Social Science. With a Master's in International Relations, Brian coordinates impactful webinars on women's roles in journalism, peace, security, and global politics.
Leading the Student Organizing Committee for Africa Week, Brian focuses on youth empowerment and African integration. He actively engages in discussions on "Youth Empowerment in the New Global Order."
Beyond academics, Brian contributes to "The Vibes of UMCS," sharing international student experiences, and plays a key role in the "UMCS Hakuna Matata" program, fostering multicultural integration.
Brian Chaggu's involvement showcases his passion for academia, cultural exchange, and creating inclusive spaces within the academic community.
