Webinar for international Candidates for studies

Yesterday, i.e. on 22nd June 2021, a webinar was held at the Lublin Conference Centre for international candidates wishing to study in Poland at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. The event was broadcast live via Facebook UMCS.

Among the guests was Dr Ewelina Panas, Rector's Proxy for Internationalization Education, who presented this year's educational offer available at the University.

Among the guests, we had students and graduates of UMCS from various parts of the world. They presented the living conditions and the accommodation offer of the university and talked about their own experiences related to studying abroad. Later in the program, Robert Ainebyona, who was the host of the event, presented the recruitment process, showing the candidates the individual steps of sending documents through the recruitment system and the recruitment schedule, and told about its progress.

Currently, 9 English-speaking fields of study are being recruited. Currently, people from over 50 countries study at our University, incl. From: India, Azerbaijan, Taiwan, China, Vietnam, Uganda, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Kyrgyzstan, Brazil, Chile, Belarus, Tajikistan, Russia and Ukraine.

During the webinar, it was possible to ask questions on the chat, to which the employees of the Promotion Centre, Monika Kusiej and Marcin Wiechnik, answered. The event received 4,300 views. The webinar is available on the University Facebook profile.
