Information on the one-year preparatory course for higher education in Poland
The course is intended for Poles living abroad and foreigners. The course offers the possibility of intensive learning of the Polish language for beginners and people who already know the Polish language to a more or less advanced level. Classes are held in groups of various levels, depending on the level of knowledge of the Polish language - levels A2, B1, B2, C1.
As part of the preparation for studies in Poland, we also offer additional specialist classes in subjects such as mathematics, history, geography, and English (to choose from, depending on your needs). Specialized classes are taught from the second semester.
The course runs from 1st October 2021 to 30th June 2022 and covers two semesters. Classes are held from Monday to Friday, 5-7 academic hours a day. The total number of hours: 810. After completing the one-year preparatory course, participants pass final exams, receive certificates and independently apply for admission to studies at a selected university.
The course fee is 2,200 euros. This is a tuition only fee. The costs of meals, accommodation, insurance, etc. course participants cover their own costs. The fee must be transferred to the Centre's account before the course begins. Before transferring it, you should obtain detailed information on visa formalities at the Consulate of the Republic of Poland in your place of residence. The course fee can be divided into 2 instalments, people of Polish origin can apply for a 30% discount.
Applications (download form attached) should be sent to our e-mail address, and there is no electronic registration for the course. After receiving the form, we will send you further information.
Required documents (documents are accepted by e-mail in the form of scans):
- application for admission to the course (the template is sent by e-mail)
- medical insurance policy for the entire period of stay in Poland
- confirmation of payment for the entire course or the first semester
- secondary school leaving certificate with translation into Polish (can be sent before the start of the course)
We issue a certificate confirming the admission to the course, based on which you can apply for a visa after receiving the required documents and fees.
Application deadline: 10th of September 2021.
There is a possibility of accommodation in a student house, a fee per month per person 400 PLN for a place in a double room. We issue certificates confirming the reservation of a place in the dormitory.
