As part of the series "Science without borders", held as part of the XVII Lublin Science Festival, on 20th September 2021, we will have the honour of hosting prof. Robert Huber (1937), German biochemist and Nobel laureate in chemistry in 1988, which he received with Johann Deisenhofer and Hartmut Michel for determining the three-dimensional structure of the photosynthetic reaction centre in bacteria.
The professor will deliver a famous science lecture, "Structural biology and its key role in the life sciences and medicine", followed by a conversation between the Nobel laureate and Dr Dawid Myśliwiec (1988) - a graduate of chemistry at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, creator of the channel "Note! Naukowy Bełkot ”on YouTube (644,000 subscribers) and the author of the best-selling book“ A recipe for a man ”(28,000 copies sold).
There is a reservation for participation and a limit of 200 places for the event. One participant may reserve a maximum of 5 places.
