It will take place on 8th September from 8:00 am–4:30 pm at the Lublin Conference Centre and online.

The conference's initiative was created in the environment of the Lublin Medicine Cluster - the largest cluster in the field of health and medicine in Poland. The community of the Lublin Medicine Cluster is an environment of experts in the field of many medical specializations, an environment that creates an efficient innovation ecosystem, in which both innovators and startups from the industry, as well as mature companies, receive support. Cluster projects in the field of innovative activity have been distinguished by experts in the summary of the study conducted by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development Cluster Benchmarking - 2020 edition.

- The digitization of the health area is one of the priorities in the new EU funding perspective, so building shared knowledge, sharing experiences, and pooling competencies are now essential. Hence the idea to organize a conference during which we want to present the current knowledge in e-health comprehensively. We invite entities involved in working on new solutions and interested in this subject, residents of Lublin and the region. The conference will address the most important issues of digital medicine and will be an opportunity to meet key institutions supporting the development of innovation, implemented and planned projects, and Lublin experts - says Krzysztof Żuk, Mayor of Lublin.

The conference is addressed to a wide range of entities related to the area of health, incl. Healthcare units, companies from  medicine and health and the ICT industry, representatives of public administration, and a wide range of innovators and end-users interested in developing innovations in e-health. Current trends, development priorities, implemented solutions, and new projects will be presented during the conference. The conference will be an opportunity to learn about the most important institutions forming the support system for innovation in health and their role in the system. The role of the end-user, technological, legal, economic and social, and ethical barriers to implementation and commercialization will also be discussed.

The event accompanying the conference will be a scientific symposium held on 7th September of this year. As part of the "Reinitilise" project financed by the Horizon 2020 program, of which the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin is a leader (partners: KU Leuven, Macerata University, Eurocentro) regarding the protection of fundamental rights in the use of digital technologies in the area of e-health.
