Dear Students,
due to COVID-19 pandemic, the procedure of applying for on-campus housing is rescheduled and divided into two rounds:

• First round of applications - from 1^st of June until 30^th of June 2021
• Second round of applications - from 16^th August until 13^th of September 2021

The first round of application is intended only for students who will continue the education at UMCS in the 2021/2022 academic year.

Therefore, during the first round of application only the following groups of students can apply:

a). current students:

• I to IV-year students of long-cycle programmes,
• I, II-year bachelor’s degree students (3-year programmes),
• I, II and III-year engineer’s degree students (3,5-year programmes),
• I-year students of second-cycle (master’s degree) programmes,

b). current doctoral students as well as doctoral schools’ students:

• I, II – year students from doctoral schools,
• III,IV- year doctoral students.

Applications for on-campus housing should be submitted ONLY via the USOSweb system.

The second round of applications is for newly accepted candidates for the I year of bachelor, master and doctoral degree students in 2021/2022 academic year.

Detailed information regarding accommodation applications for 2021/22 academic year will be announced on the UMCS website at a later date.

At the same time, we would like to inform that at the moment due to COVID-19 pandemic, the University plans to limit the number of residents accommodated in individual dormitories in the upcoming 2021/2022 academic year. However, the university reserves the right to change this decision.

Due to the planned renovation of UMCS student dormitories:

• in the academic year 2021/2022, there will be no possibility of accommodation in ZANA dormitory;
• from the summer semester of the 2021/2022 academic year, there will be no possibility of residing at GRZEŚ dormitory. Therefore, students who will be accommodated in GRZEŚ dormitory in the winter semester (2021/2022 academic year) will be given the possibility of moving to another UMCS dormitory in a set time (subject to the dormitory fee cannot be higher than the fee paid by the particular student in the winter semester 2021/2022);
• applying for the accommodation in GRZEŚ dormitory will be possible in the second round of applications.
