Registrations to the Library

Registrations to the UMCS Library are held at the Main Library Lending Department or at the faculty lending departments of faculty libraries.
The electronic library account is activated at the Main Library Lending Department or at the lending departments having access to the library system:

• MBFH (Inter-faculty Philological and Historical Library) - Neophilological Lending Dep.
• MBFH (Inter-faculty Philological and Historical Library) - Polish Philology Lending Dep.
• MBFH (Inter-faculty Philological and Historical Library) - Institute of History Lending Dep.
• Faculty of Political Science and Journalism Lending Dep.
• Institute of Pedagogy Lending Dep.
• Institute of Psychology Lending Dep.
• Faculty of Economics

Registering with the UMCS Library requires filling in a declaration form which includes: 
• a pledge of compliance with the rules of using the Library,
• confirming the veracity of personal data with one's handwritten signature.

When enrolling to the library, you will need:
• for UMCS employees - personal ID, current employment certificate
• for UMCS students - electronic student ID card.

The student library card is the electronic student ID card.

The reader's account is updated:
• for UMCS employees  - for a full calendar year;
• for students - for the academic year, after applying with valid student ID.
