Nominations to the Jerzy Giedroyć Award 2016 has been published on April 16th, 2016 by the Award Jury chaired by Prof. Krzysztof Pomian.
Jerzy Giedroyć Award was founded by Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin in 2002 and is awarded yearly to authors who creatively continue message of Jerzy Giedroyć, the Founder and long time Editor of Kultura, as well as conduct research on Kultura heritage. Winners of the Award include Daniel Beauvois, Andrzej Friszke, Aleksandra Hnatiuk, Jarosław Hrycak, Dariusz Kosiński, Mariusz Mazur, Timothy Snyder. The 2016 winner will be announced during Inauguration of the coming academic year at UMCS in Lublin.
