Information clause

1. The controller of your personal data is the University of Maria Curie-Skłodowska (UMCS/University) based in Lublin, Pl. Marii Curie-Skłodowskiej 5, 20-031 Lublin.

2. In matters related to the processing of your personal data, you may contact the Data Protection Officer by e-mail: iod@mail.umcs.pl.

3. Your personal data will be processed in order to participate in the event: ‘Data Science Conference’ also to contact you on matters related to its organisation, using the data provided.

4. Your personal data, will be processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(E) RODO, i.e. the performance of a task carried out in the public interest with the performance in connection with the Act of 20 July 2018. - Law on Higher Education and Science.

5. Your personal data will be stored for a period of 5 years.

6. Your data may be made available to entities authorised by law and to entities with whom the Administrator has concluded a data entrustment agreement.

7. You have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification, restriction of processing and the right to object to the processing of your data.

8. You have the right to lodge a complaint against the processing carried out by the Administrator to the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection (UODO) with its seat at 2 Stawki Street, 00-193 Warsaw.

9. Your personal data will not be processed automatically (including through profiling).

10. Providing data is voluntary, but necessary to participate in the event: ‘Data Science Conference’.
