Doctoral Studies in Literature and Linguistics

2018/2019

Students of Years I, II, and III need to take the course "Contemporary literary studies, linguistics, and cultural studies". This is an elective: you are required to choose TWO out of three courses being offered (20 hours each) so that your class workload amounts to 40 hours. We offer two courses in Sem 1 and one in Sem 2: you can take both in Sem 1 or one in each semester. See the descriptions in the file attached below.

Of the two courses of your choice, you choose ONE to take an exam in (the other is the so-called graded verification). You should notify your teacher of your wish to take the exam within the first few weeks of the academic year, say, after the first two sessions.

Students of Year IV are off the hook as far as this course goes.
