On April 28th, 2025, a group of 14 international students from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) participated in a career development workshop titled “Unlock Your Career Potential: CV Building and Interview Self-Presentation.” The event took place at the Lublin office of Concentrix CVG International and was jointly organized by the UMCS Competence Development Office (Promotion Centre) and the International Student Office (Centre for Education and Study Services).

The workshop was designed to equip students with practical tools for crafting impactful CVs and improving their self-presentation during job interviews. Through interactive discussions and real-life recruitment examples, participants learned how to highlight their strengths, make strong first impressions, and communicate effectively and confidently in professional settings. Delivered in a friendly and professional atmosphere, the session encouraged active participation, questions, and experience-sharing among the students. The trainers from Concentrix created a supportive learning space, offering valuable insights into what recruiters truly look for. In addition to enhancing their job application skills, students had the opportunity to network, boost their confidence, and gain new perspectives on their career development paths. The workshop was organized as part of the project “The Power of Relations – działania na rzecz wzmocnienia potencjału UMCS w zakresie obsługi studentów z zagranicy,” funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) under the Welcome to Poland Program. |
