Support in Mental Crisis – Workshop for Erasmus and foreign student

Are you an Erasmus or foreign student interested in mental health? Join us for a workshop on understanding mental health crisis and how to support yourself and others. According to the World Health Organization, 1 in 3 people will experience a mental disorder in their lifetime. It is crucial to have adequate knowledge on this topic to recognize the first symptoms, effectively support a person in crisis, take care of ourselves when we experience mental distress, and build a supportive community.

During this workshop, you will:

    • Better understand what a person with a mental disorder is thinking and feeling
    • Learn what to do when someone close to you is experiencing a mental health crisis
    • Learn how to take care of your own mental health

Place and time

The meetings will be held in-person, and the location will be communicated in an email to those who sign up. The workshop will take place on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm at Chatka Żaka at Sala ciszy (Idziego Radziszewskiego 16). Enrolled persons will receive additional details.
