W dniach 6-7 czerwca 2025 r. na Uniwersytecie w Zadarze odbyła się 15. konferencja CEECOM (Central and Eastern European Communication and Media Conference), zatytułowana: Journalism, Audiences, and Platform Power in the Age of Transformation. Wydarzenie zostało zorganizowane przez Central and East European Network, będącej częścią European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA).
Instytut Nauk o Komunikacji Społecznej i Mediach UMCS na konferencji reprezentowały:
- dr hab. Ewa Nowak-Teter, prof. UMCS, która przedstawiła referat zatytułowany: Emotion recognition of the AI- and human-generated news messages oraz
- dr hab. Katarzyna Kopecka-Piech, prof. UMCS prezentująca wyniki swoich badań nad cyfrowym detoksem: Being off as new media literacy of transforming audiences. Emotional aspects of social media disconnection performed by Polish students.
